Hyacinths are a delightful large flowering Spring Bulb. The very striking flowers are highly scented and are very easy to grow. They are perfect for planting in patio pots and window boxes or at the front of borders and beds. They can also be forced into flowering indoors for Christmas to give a wonderful show and a scent that will fill the room. Hyacinths are compact on sturdy stems and will grow approx 25cm tall. They can also be grown in a jar or glass vase without compost. This is a great and fun project for children to see the growth of roots and completion of the growing cycle.
