Flower Carpet Roses are simply the best ground cover roses available on the market. Flower Carpet Roses have received over 25 Gold & International Rose Awards.
They are very hardy, exceptionally disease resistant and are very low maintenance. These varieties produce an astonishing display of repeat flowers from June until Oct/Nov. Once established some varieties have been known to produce over 1000 flowers in a single season!
They are fantastic planted in large groups and allowed to cover the ground which will smother out weeds. For ground cover plant 1 plant every square metre in the planting scheme.
Pruning is optional: once a year in in late winter or early spring you can cut them back by a third using garden shears. If un-pruned they will still flower prolifically on a slightly larger bush. Whether planted individually or en masse these plants are a must for every garden.
