Arno Garlic has won the RHS Award Of Garden Merit. Arno has a high clove count with excellent flavour. This soft-neck garlic produces white bulbs and compact pink-beige cloves. The cloves are easy to peel and bulbs store well. This variety can be planted in either Autumn or Spring.  

We advise that you unpack your bulbs when delivered and spread out in a light cool place until until you are ready to plant.

Garlic Growing Tips

• Plant in well drained soil in full sun that has been prepared a few weeks in advance by incorporating compost/manure/fertiliser. Do not plant in freshly manured soil.
• Break the bulbs into individual cloves. Plant each clove 2cm below the surface of the soil, in a row 10cm apart, with 40cm between each row.
• May require watering during dry spells.
