Dahlia Lucky Number produces fantastic large double pink flowers with soft quilted petals. Fantastic as a cut flower.This Dahlia produces masses of  flowers from July to October. The flowers look great when planted with other bright shades or contrasted with richer blooms.

Dahlia Growing Tips

• Plant out when the risk of frost has past or start them off in the greenhouse in pots during late winter or early spring
• Plant the tubers approx 15cm (6 inches) deep, horizontally with the eyes facing up.
• When growing feed with a high nitrogen feed in early summer to boost growth.
• When budding and flowering feed weekly with a high potash feed to promote flowering. Dead head as necessary.
• Stake with canes if required.
• In milder areas mulch generously once they have died back in autumn to protect from the frost.
• In colder areas the tubers should be lifted in winter and stored in a frost free place before replanting the following spring.
