Primor Garlic is a hardneck garlic variety. Each bulb can be split into 8-10 cloves which are planted individually. Best planted in Sept-Dec and they will be ready for early harvest in June-July. It produces purple streaked bulbs and has a strong flavour.

We advise that you unpack your bulbs when delivered and spread out in a light cool place until until you are ready to plant.

Garlic Growing Tips

• Plant in well drained soil in full sun that has been prepared a few weeks in advance by incorporating compost/manure/fertiliser. Do not plant in freshly manured soil.
• Break the bulbs into individual cloves. Plant each clove 2cm below the surface of the soil, in a row 10cm apart, with 40cm between each row.
• May require watering during dry spells.
